Camp Wish List:

You can help Strang Scout Reservation and the Housatonic Council.

This is a list of items that the Property Committee is requesting people donate to camp, to help keep the cost of our program for our Scouts as low as possible.

Please call Property Committee Chairman Bill McDonnell (home 924-5535 or at work 881-5357) or Scout Executive Steven McEwan 734-3329 ext. 304 before you bring any item to Camp Strang or the Council Office. (If what you have to donate isn't something we can use, it will only cost us money to have it disposed of.)

CAMP HEALTH OFFICER TRAINING:

This training, which used to be available only on diskette, has been updated and added to the BSA Web site as a PowerPoint file.

While the primary audience for this training is individuals who serve as a camp health officer at a council or district camp, it may serve as a helpful reference for any adult leader who conducts or participates in outdoor activities. The training can be downloaded at www.scouting.org/pubs/19-141.ppt

OUTDOOR CODE

As an American, I will do my best to
Be clean in my outdoor manners,
Be careful with fire,
Be considerate in the outdoors,
and be conservation-minded.
